ABOUT LAKUM

As part of ‘Giving Initiatives’ in the United Arab Emirates, the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) launched a humanitarian initiative in 2016, designed to encourage social values and goodwill to all.

Through this initiative, the idea to teach and encourage children within the UAE the ‘Gift of Giving’ was born. This included providing educational and fun gifts to children in need throughout the world; One box at a time!

It is our hope that these boxes will inspire a message of joy and kindness to those receiving, whilst providing our growing community with the opportunity to ‘Do Something Good Everyday’.
